Palin used a symbol of a target on a map to focus on getting certain democrats voted out of office.

READ my comments on this blog. I slam Boehner and Bush and Romney as well as Pelosi, Obama, etc. To me, with the exception of Ron Paul and those like him, all the rest are THE SAME.

And I put Palin in the partial Rino area also. I like Bachman much better.

Not 10 minutes ago I slammed Boehner and I am always on Bush. As I said, I get on Obama also.

SheSHe - why don't liberals ever criticize democrat politicians? Every blue moon a lib will complain about Obama involved in Afghanistan instead of leaving but in all the time I have been blogging both here and on Gretawire, I rarely read a liberal who finds anything wrong with anyone in their party. They are quick to critize the Republicans though.

Excellant research, Samuel. I have been thinking about all the 'vitriol' spewed on this blog against Palin. Will this blog be responsible if something happens to her or her family? There is on blogger that is so obsessed with Palin that he/she would be the first one to look at if something happens to Palin. I like Palin, but not as presidential material. She is folksy and comes up with terminology that you would probably not hear anywhere else but in a country environment. That doesn't mean she wishes ill will on anyone. I might add to your BO qoutes above the one about the Cambridge incident in which BO said the police 'acted stupidly' and inplied racism was involved. That incited racial talk and could have incited violence against police. A person takes words the way they want to.

Regarding the now, over the top, talk about protection for each member of congress. Does that mean they will now request their own private plane as Pelosi had? One mentioned that they don't get treated properly by the TSA.......who do they think they are? This statement brings out their true feelings that they are, indeed, elite. They are public servants just like our police force who work for about a fourth of the salary that congress make and they are in more danger every day of the week! Not to mention our troops! Now, back to the looney headcase that shot up 20 innocent people: I guess since this guy has been pegged by classmates as far back as the 10th grade, as a left-wing, pothead, it was the 'vitriol' spewed against Bush (about 7 years ago), that really set the stage for what this guy did on Saturday. Classmates afraid of him in high school, in college, even teachers afraid to turn their back on him.

First: spew bile repeatedly and unceasingly, knowing well that if you tell a lie or a half-truth enough times, there always be those who believe it.

Second: next accuse the right of being the ones who are doing it.

Third: then when something terrible happens like the Az massacre, focus the spotlight on the right and sanctimoniously insist that the right be held accountable and that something be done to prevent them from causing another such event.

Fourth: sit back and revel in the knowledge that you've once against deceived everyone.

I wish I had seen your post before I posted this in the other thread:

I heard on the News this morning that the vitriol from the left got way out of hand back when Bush was first elected. They said on any given Sunday morning you could walk up & down the "Upper West Side" and see posters of Bush in a Hitler uniform. I'm not sure what that is in reference to, but I am certainly curious. Why the Upper West Side? Why on Sunday mornings? They said the tolerance for this, is in part, what led to Saturday's massacre.
