Me too. I saw the guy who started it (or maybe he just runs the event) on the television yesterday. He seemed really pleased at the attention they were getting this year.

i have been on rides with about 400 bikes....wow...what a feeling.....this many will certainly make some noise....

I admit, I do get a little excited about Rolling Thunder. The founder is just a chilled out type of guy and you can tell he cares....and I will note, it isn't political at all for him. He is all about this cause.

BB....Rolling thunder will be shown on Fox when they take off within the next hour...they didn't give the exact time....I'm guessing around noon.

Oh well - I don't have FOX. I just got back home and checked online but can't find anywhere that is showing it. I am sure there will be some video later.

I did find a video about Rolling Thunder on You Tube - it was from FOX you could see a few bikes going past in the back - but it was all about Palin - not really about Rolling Thunder.

I am sure that Rolling Thunder is not about Palin - the FOX News coverage of Rolling Thunder that I found on youtube was mostly focused on Palin. I am sure that is not the only coverage. I was able to find quite a few home videos after that - probably just going up that gave some great coverage of all the bikes/riders.

Saw some great vintage bikes, some with side cars which I love - but probably would not ride in - and even a few Vespas.

Rolling Thunder has made it clear that it isn't about Palin or any other political figure and it is about supporting our troops. Regardless of who each member votes for, the founder doesn't want this to be a political issue. Our troops, not Palin or anyone else.

My family and friends have even donated over time and we support Rolling Thunder.

Leave it to Fox to try to twist a real story.l
