It sounds like a self serving piece written exclusively to justify the what the right wing GOP Party has become. The party is moving so far to the right....ooops would that be myth # 2 or 3, that if the gain anymore control, they will tip this country off the cliff for sure. I am hoping that the American voters have learned a lesson for the 2010 mid-term elections and understand that we need real leaders who care more about this country to being right or proving a political point at the expense of the American economy and on the backbone of American workers.
Hopefully 2010 was a wake up call for all Americans that elections really do have consequences.

JNTF, the article if full of someone else's opinions. There are no facts provided to prove. I do not agree with the arthor's point of view. I see the GOP as going so far right. I see them as a bunch of crazy so call leaders who banks off certain type of voters who are not "comfortable" with a Black man leading this country. I think the teaparty voters are just a bunch of older white americans who can be fed faux or partial information and will always vote GOP. Many of them were not this involved in politics until Pres Obama was elected.
