No, no. Uncle Nick doesn't rob the cradle. My conditioning classes are successful for two reasons: greed and the natural female tendency to follow an alpha male.

The conditioning classes are like others that consist of diet and exercise. The difference is in motivation.
A woman is told it will cost her five hundred to drop fifteen pounds in two months and she'll get two hundred back when and if she reaches her goal. Sometimes I have to crack the whip on these females and give them the iron clad alpha male stare to give them motivation to follow instructions and drop the weight. But betrween greed and the alpha male stare, the job gets done.
Then when the women succeed they are very appreciative. Everyone is happy. Peace reigns over the land.

I am out of the runnings. But I am going to limit my weight gain to between 17-20 lbs. I really only want to gain baby weight and the other lbs needed to nuture my little one. I had my first child when I was 21 so I was able to eat all day and night and it seemed as if I lost every single pound the moment she was born. I doubt if that is going to be the case now LOL!

Yes - SLF - I am down 16 lbs. I made 15 lbs by my deadline and have been keeping it off. Back into all my clothes I love. Now - to just keep toning.
Even my hubby got into it - he joined a soccer team and plays 2 nights a week on a league.

I can't explain my weight loss early on and I really haven't gain anything yet. My stomach is just feeling harder and had I not know I was pregnant, I would think that I am about to form a 6 pack LOL

SheShe - my husband doesn't really have a goal - just too feel good. He is one of those people who is just naturally fit and gorgeous - so he gets compliments whether he is in tip top shape or not. It's a little disconcerting sometimes to watch all the women do double takes.
Although when he is not running regularly or playing soccer he can get a little soft in the middle - then I give him a little tease.

Bumpy Omar or is it Omar Bumpy? I understand where the name Bumpy is coming from - but who is Omar? SheShe, is that one of the names you are considering for a boy? I think it an Italian name - but also other backgrounds.

I believe it to be Arab. Many Hispanic-Latino boys are called Omar as well. Funny how that goes.

I like Omar - you're right SLF it sounds like it could be a name anywhere around the Mediterranean. I just looked it up and it is Hebrew and Arabic originally. Means Speaker in Hebrew and Populous and Flourishing in Arabic.

Yes Beach Baby, I like the origin of Omar. Oliva I like because for whatever reason, I wanted that to be my name since I was a little girl. I use to call myself Olivia. My mother said when I was 3, I would tell people my name was really Oliva. She says, she has no idea where I first heard that name and why I love it so much. Me either. I just feel attached to it and would have name my first daughter Oliva but there was a lot of objection from my ex-husband and he won.

Hey Annie, yeah I saw the Color Purple but I was 3 when my mom said I started telling people my name was Olivia which was years before Color Purple. When I first watched the Color Purple and the scene where the lady talks about why she named her daughter Oliva, I was like Wow!! there is someone else who likes that name too.
I don't recall ever meeting a woman name Oliva, strange huh??

Names are interesting. My kids all have Biblical names, very old fashioned. But one son, has a middle name "Todd". I have NO idea where that came from. :-)

Hey Beach Baby, I just finished clicking on several of the how to links and they are right on board with what my doctor is saying and that gives me that 2nd opinion. He said exercise and my weight gain will be fine between 15-20 lbs. The reason that I haven't gain weight so far is because I have been eating better and exercising thanks to our goals setting on Gratewire.

Annie, isn't it something that you don't know where Todd came from. See that is the thing with names. We are attracted to them sometimes and we don't know why.
My son's name is Solomon, right from the Bible but we are not Bible thumpers either. We just felt connected to it although we both know it came from our reading of the Bible.

This weight thing is really pissing me off!! I'm trying to put on a few pounds, and you girls, are worried about loosing a few pounds. How about being grateful, for what God has given you, and enjoy it !1 There is nothing more beautiful, than a woman, who is content, with being who and what she is, and weight has not one "damn thing" to do with that attraction !!

cjer - if you want to gain a few pounds - follow Bumpy's example - ice cream and cookies will help! :-)
Oh and don't forget to make sure there are calories in everything you are drinking and liberally apply mayonaise wherever possible.
Those tricks will definitely make you fat and happy! (And I agree with you about being happy with whatever weight you are - it is easy to beat yourself up when you break a zipper trying to get on your skinny jeans! ;-0)
