No, no - you misunderstood. She had accused me of being Kurt and "demanded" that I prove I wasn't. When I told her I had been posting for years on the blog and even posted on the very first forum using my original name "Maggie" she said she would be back later - was going to pull up all the comments from the very first forum to see if I had in fact posted there. I was like, whatever - go ahead. Well, she never did come back and "report" her findings . . . . lol . . . . gee, I wonder why? She must have felt like a complete jackass, and of course apologizing is beneath her.

Lol, that's what I was trying to tell ya, that she had access to them by clicking our names, but she would say that she had them all copied and saved someplace else. She definitely saved all of Michelle's comments, and she said that she emailed Greta a lot. I don't know if that is true or not, or if she was just trying to scare Michelle. One night Michelle and I were talking and I told her that Judy was NOT all those people like Tippers Poodle, etc. Michelle said that she knew that, but that they were all the same mindset, and marched in lockstep, and when one got attacked, the whole group suddenly showed up. So she would accuse them of being the same person just to get a rise out of them. I liked Michelle's comments, actually. She was like you and me in ways, because she called out the Progressive Republicans big time! The ones married to the Republican party did NOT like that at all!

She attacked me also - saying I was KURT. I was one of the original GW forum bloggers also.

I think with HUMAN moderators on the website that are CLEARLY IDENTIFIED, it keeps the site from being filled with threads like ZZZZZ.

Where has David Canberra gone? He had some LONG threads but many of them were interesting.

gg - There is one poster here on this forum who was "lockstep" with Judy in accusing me of being Kurt. Judy put her up to it. But she found out otherwise shortly thereafter, but we have never spoken since (and probably won't be speaking to each other here either).

Greta made a HUGE mistake putting in that REPORT button. Every whiner in the world hit that thing. And I bet the people reading her email just deleted the whines. That REPORT button was the beginning of the end of the Gretawire forum.

Samual - I honestly think she accused 98% of the posters of being Kurt. It was the most dreadful conversations to come across because you knew it would last for hours & hours. YAWN

Do you mean Daniel? There was a thread about him last night on here . . . . Hoodie said he "made room" for Daniel in the RULES section . . . . LOL

I also like reading his posts. I read them late at night when the forum was slow. I'd much rather read through anything he wrote than run into those KURT posts.

I'm back to say that I definitely, unlike you, gg, have absolutely no use for Judy- and with good reason. At another time I will enumerate the reasons.

For now I'll just say that she was the kind of person - you're right - the fights were among those who were pro-Republicans - were part of the same party -figure that one out. Her problem was that she had to be the top dog and I fought her a number of times. I think you may be aware of that.

Oh, she was really a winner!

Samual, Judy told me that Greta never looked at the "report" stuff, and that to get action you had to email her directly.

I used to get so furious when people were reporting and emailing! Geeesh, we're all adults, just scroll on by those things that offend you or those things with which you disagree. It really did get to be a nuthouse there, especially after the Foggy Bottom Gang appeared and stated their intent to get Greta's forum shut down.

Ev, I can honestly say that I was attacked MUCH more often by other conservatives, and attacked pretty viciously too, than I ever was by any liberal.

A BLT sounds delicious right now, but I don't have any bacon, don't have any lettuce, don't have any tomatoes . . . . so all I can have is toast if I still want a BLT.

The only thing I will give to Judy from North Carolina is that I couldn't
go along with Michelle's thinking that Judy had a lot of aliases. I somehow took her at her word that she had only one moniker - BUT then again - do I know for sure? No - But then again I DO NOT CARE EITHER WAY - I'm not one who tries to figure out who is who - I honestly couldn't care less -

I have never had a diet soda in my life. I drink about 2 cans of pepsi or coke (whatever is on sale) a week and I never got into the whole diet thing. My hubby drinks diet dew . . . but I mostly drink water.

BLT's are my summer favorite because I grow my own lettuce & tomatoes. It kills me to buy any of those items at the store, even in the dead of winter. I'm just funny that way.

LOL, that's how I felt too, Ev, I just did not care! I long ago decided that I'd just visit with whichever personality showed up, and wasn't gonna stress over who used what monikers, etc. It just never affected my life at all. Michelle knew that Judy wasn't many people, she just said that to get a rise out of Judy, and it worked every time.

SPG, there is NOTHING as good as a homegrown tomato! The ones in the store taste like cardboard, after having a REAL tomato! When I was a kid I would eat so many tomatoes right out of the garden that I'd get those little acid burns in my mouth, but I'd keep eating those things regardless. My mom said that I was weird as a kid even, lol, that if given the choice between ice cream and tomatoes, I'd always pick tomatoes!

OMG, LMAO, I LOVE tomato sandwiches, SPG!! Now I'm drooling even more! Damn, I love good ol' ripe, homegrown tomatoes! I'm gonna go fix a BLT, can't take this any more! My tomatoes are store bought, not good enough for a "mater sammich"!

GGthere is NOTHING as good as a homegrown tomato!_________My parents always had a garden when I was growing up.

I purchased 10 earthboxes and grew lots of tomatoes last year. This year I am going to can. My father and mother both canned together which some may think is unusual but looking back, I think it was a great hobby they shared. They certainly talked a lot while doing it. My father was the one who mostly tended the garden though after the seeds/plants were set out.

Hi, Samual - I had forgotten that this was the thread where SPG, gg and I - you included - had a great pow-wow over the happenings in the old GW forum, which very nicely leads me into my question -
As you well know I'm no techie, far from it, and I was wondering what do you and Robin get out of this forum. WE get a LOT out of it! We vent and howl and laugh and whatever, but again what benefit do you get from it. A lot of work goes into it, this is no day at the beach, not from where I'm sitting.

You don't have to answer this but I'm curious as to what possible benefit you get from it. Someone said somethong over at GW about glancing in here and just seeing "a bunch of advertisements". I don't see any adverrtising.

Ev, the people on GW who are just getting "advertisements" are clicking on a fake link that someone keeps posting there. The person made the link as wwww. instead of www.

There's no advertising on our site at this time.

Barb- I just got here - You beat me to it - I was going to say :Bkaikley" yesterday to gg - I had seen something that gg had seen and it had to do with this B person. HOWEVER, Judy accused and maybe still accusing Michelle of being every other person under the sun - so I wouldn't bet my money on Blaikley - or whatever.

SPG, gg and I had quite a session on here yesterday. I had forgotten it was this thread. We went over some of the stuff that was going on at the GW forum which was beyond unbelievable. I posted something on GW not too long ago about it not being just the dirt - plain pornography - but more than that it was the gang - which I for one am delirious that it hasn't got a Chinaman's chance (no Chinese offense meant LOL) of getting thru GW now.

I was a target there more than once, and Michelle zeroed in on that several times and with good reason. There were several members and Judy was the ringleader.

It was lethal. No doubt about it. Unbelievable. They made West Side Story look like Disneyland.
